What is Radon?
Radon is a colorless, odorless, tasteless radioactive gas that’s formed during the natural breakdown of uranium in soil, rock and water. Radon exits the ground and can seep into your home through cracks and holes in the foundation, and can also contaminate well water. Radon is the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer next to cigarette smoking.

How Do I reduce my Radon Levels?
There are several methods a radon contractor can use to lower radon levels in your home. The most common system is called a “sub-slab depressurization system”. This system prevents radon from entering your home by suction with a radon fan, and venting it through a pipe or pipes to the air above the house where it is quickly diluted naturally.
